Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 May 2026.
These Terms govern your use of OnMeet at onmeet.io (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or starting a meeting you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service in plain words
OnMeet lets you convene a panel of AI personas, stress-test an idea out loud, and walk away with a transcript and an optional written recommendation. We use third-party AI models (currently the Gemini family) to generate the personas' voice + text in real time. Outputs are AI-generated and may be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or out of date. Treat them as input to your own thinking, not professional advice.
2. AI output disclaimer
Nothing the panel says is legal, medical, financial, tax, therapeutic, or any other regulated professional advice. We provide a thinking tool; we are not a substitute for a qualified human in any of those domains. Verify anything that matters with a relevant expert before acting on it.
Where the AI cites factual claims, double-check the underlying sources. AI models hallucinate confidently. We cannot warrant accuracy, freshness, or completeness of any output.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use OnMeet.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and Google OAuth credentials safe. Don't share accounts.
- One account per person. Sharing a subscription across multiple humans or organisations is grounds for termination.
- You can delete your account any time from Settings → Profile. Deletion removes your transcripts, documents, and memory snippets. Some records (billing audit, abuse signals) are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use OnMeet to:
- Generate or attempt to generate content that is illegal where you live, that targets, threatens, defames, or harasses any individual, or that sexualises minors.
- Solicit professional advice intended to bypass licensed professionals (e.g. specific medication dosing, legal strategy for an active case).
- Generate malware, phishing content, or instructions designed to harm software, hardware, infrastructure, or people.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our system prompts or model weights.
- Resell, sublicense, or wrap the service in your own commercial product without a written agreement with us.
- Use the service to train any other model or build a competing AI panel product.
- Submit personally identifiable information about third parties who haven't consented (medical records, leaked private chats, etc.).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund. Egregious violations are reported to the relevant authorities.
5. Your content; our use of it
- You keep all rights to the text + audio you submit and to the meeting transcripts you generate.
- You grant OnMeet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process your content as strictly required to run the service (route it to the AI models, persist your transcripts, render them back to you, generate recommendations + memory snippets).
- We do not use your transcripts to train AI models. The upstream model providers we use are configured to not train on API data per their paid-tier terms.
- Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (total minutes, feature adoption) may be used internally to improve the product.
6. Plans, credits, and billing
OnMeet sells time on the platform through a credit system. One credit equals approximately one minute of meeting time, billed second by second. Plans (Starter / Plus / Pro / Power) refill credits monthly. Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period. See our Refund Policy for the cancel / non-refund details.
Billing is processed by Paddle as the merchant of record. Your subscription is between you and Paddle; OnMeet receives a settled amount net of payment processor fees, tax, and Paddle's commission. Paddle handles invoicing, VAT/sales tax, dispute resolution, and chargebacks; their terms apply alongside ours.
Prices are listed in USD on the pricing page and may change with at least 14 days' notice for existing subscribers.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but make no SLA at this stage. OnMeet may be interrupted for maintenance, upstream provider outages (especially during a Gemini incident), DDoS mitigation, or events outside our reasonable control. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime; if a billing period is materially affected (more than 24 cumulative hours of downtime), email support@onmeet.io and we'll credit the difference at our discretion.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the system, or for legal reasons. On termination, your subscription is cancelled and any remaining credit balance is forfeited (see Refund Policy).
9. Warranty disclaimer
OnMeet is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnMeet's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may update the service and these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance via email and at the top of this page. Continuing to use OnMeet after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law + disputes
See the Legal Notice for the operator entity, jurisdiction, governing law, and forum for disputes.
